Trade 2 for 1
These two cars have been together over 20 years and they'll be traded together.
I'm looking for a very clean grandma/Sunday driver car or smaller suv.
Original owner, garaged, well maintained, non-smoker, no accidents, blue title
Age and miles don't necessarily matter -- reliability are condition are most important.
No junque - please don't waste my time.
Let me know what you have to trade.

'99 Toyota Avalon
Original owner -- It's really been a great car.
Non-smoker
Inspection sticker 7/24
Good condition
Strong engine
New battery
Great daily driver
171k mi (very low for its age)
Daytime running lights
6 cylinder FI
Paint is pretty good but there are small chips on the hood.
Seems common w/ older Avalons.
Drives smooth
AC
Tilt/cruise
Front wipers: intermittent
Am/fm CD/cassette
L/R power mirrors
Factory alarm (remote key fobs)
Sunroof/moonroof
Leather
Split front seats
Stearing Column transmission shift
Rear defroster
Tinted windows
power locks
Alloy wheels
Dual airbags
full size spare
no accidents (small curb scrape passenger front)
faintly noticeable dent from a rogue shopping cart above driver's side wheel.
average scratches/door dings
*engine light (doesn't effect driving or inspection)
power steering leak
Electric seats wont move - fuse?
AC works but button doesn't lock, function knob won't adjust - see photo 3rd knob on the right
Rear suspension - shocks/springs/struts?
Interior rear plastic door handles cracked and broke off - no clue why
Car needs a good cleaning
It will not be sparkly clean upon viewing (as-is)

This particular generation (3rd) of Preludes is by far one of the very best models Honda/Japan has ever created.
It really is almost perfect in every aspect.
[design, handling, manufacturing quality and longevity]
I've had the car 23 years with little to no trouble.
Overall it's is in pretty good drivable condition considering its age.
I'd very much like for the new owner to have it restored back to the beautiful classic it once was.
It still turns heads and is a great conversation starter for sure.
You don't see many of these on the roads anymore.
Interior is clean, no rips or tears.
Little bubbling on the dash but there's no cracks.
Never been smoked in
November sticker
New battery
Has a spare tire and jack
Timing belt replaced 160k
Transmission was rebuilt 16 years ago
Clean title
Owner's manual and some service paperwork/receipts.
Original Prelude wheels <-------- hard to find and very $$
The paint is ok for a 34yo car that's been in the sun.
Alpine am/fm cassette w/detachable face.
Here's a list of current defects: (that I can think of)
Idle is smooth for the most part but the engine coughs sometimes.
AC is out
Plastic AC fan knob broke
Engine light is on
ABS light is on
Windshield is cracked
Needs a valve cover gasket - oil is leaking (I have a new kit)
Needs a new gas filter
Speedometer, odometer tachometer not working - L3 column light is blinking
The odometer stopped at 197k.
I'd say actual mileage is around 230k
The above gauges need a transmission speed sensor replaced.
I have a new one along with a new set of plugs, that should turn off the engine light.
There are small rust spots starting to show especially around the windshield.
I tried to caulk it but didn't do a very good job.
*see pic
Sunroof (seal) leaks a little with heavy rain.
(not alot)
Rear window defroster is not working.
Front passenger headlight cover is dented.
Headlights still retract.
Rear passenger side 1/4 panel has been repainted 15 years ago.
I'm not exactly sure what happened, I don't believe it's ever been in an accident.
It has some scuffs and scratches.
Original owner cut a 3" circle, for speakers I presume, in both L/R door panels.
I had them covered with foam but the foam is disintegrating.
*see pic
Needs a thorough washing including engine
Everything you see is stock except the radio, speakers, muffler, plug wires, battery and tires.
If you're familiar with restorations, none of the defects listed above are major issues however they do need to be addressed.
Some of the photos were taken early morning hence the dew on the windows.
Photos were taken when I had the muffler replaced 12/'21
It will not be sparkly clean upon viewing (as-is)
Don't ask if they're still available - the ad will be removed whenever I decide to remove it.
