In need of a reliable car (Austin/Bastrop)

Lost my financed car in September due to me losing my job May.
I tried so hard for the months I was not working to make some kind of money using all the gig work apps available in my area but between home bills, and car note with the required full coverage insurance I just couldn’t manage.
It got to a point where I was making decisions like if I was going to pay light bill or my car insurance, car note or rent….
Food or insurance.
It has been a struggle.
I’m not from Texas but I’ve been living here for years I have an 11 year old that I’m the sole caregiver of, I do have family in TX…none of which I know well or have a relationship with… no friends out here either.
Mentally I’ve been a wreck… I just want to feel okay again.
Part of me feeling okay again is securing another vehicle.
Please understand in this request that I’m making I know it’s a LONG shot but I’m willing to try anything at this point.
I’m not working so I can’t afford to take on a note and the full coverage insurance again right now.
I wouldn’t want to at this point anyway.
I’m doing everything to minimize my bills so I guess you could say I’m looking for someone that’s looking to give away a car OR that’s willing to give me 1 year of using the vehicle and then I can make payments.
If the latter, I’d be willing to sign whatever contract necessary along with just keeping in contact.
Please no manual vehicles, 2door vehicles, trucks ( not comfortable driving trucks of any size).
