If you search "comics" on craigslist and scroll for a while I imagine you'll see about two "I want to buy your collection" posts for every one big collection for sale.
I've noticed these posts have alot in common.
First off, almost all the posters claim that they pay more than anyone else.
Second, they often insist that they are collectors--not dealers--because they think it sounds better.
I've been buying and selling comics and collectibles since I was a kid, and now as an adult it's my full time gig.
I don't have a store, I don't have overhead, employees, lights, I'm just a guy who works out of his garage and sells on ebay.
Because of this I've minimized my overhead, all I need to do is make enough to pay myself a fair wage.
My operation is efficient, it's streamlined, and it's my favorite thing in the world.
I love that I get to pay my bills by handling old comic books and I wouldn't have it any other way.
My method is to look over your collection, tell you exactly what it's worth, and then tell you exactly how much I need to make on it.
I'm a straight shooter and I'm fair, but sometimes that doesn't sound as good as the other guys.
Call me first, call me last, just know I'll be fair with you and I'm happy to give you an appraisal and the phone number of another dealer if we can't work something out.
Feel free to give me a call or shoot me a text (I always respond quickly to texts).
I'm at show contact info .
