Used Car from private seller (Austin)

Hi, I can give you a whole sob story detailing how difficult this past year has been (illness, unemployment, two car accidents ect.
) but the bottom line is I desperately need a used car to get from point a to point b.
I can offer ~$500 down payment in cash, but I am hoping to find a good samaritan who will work out a short term monthly payment schedule as not having a car is preventing me from getting to my jobs and my credit is poor so most loans and dealers are not an option currently.
Internal or external cosmetic issues are not my top priority, I just need a RELIABLE sedan, coup or SUV that's not stolen to get back on my feet.
