In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of 1 post closer and overseeing all aspects of real estate loan fundings, loan boardings, and reconciling accounting discrepancies.
You will also be the go-to person for answering member questions regarding their loans post funding and resolving any member servicing issues.
Collaboration with our sub-servicer, Cenlar, will be essential in ensuring timely and accurate resolution of any issues.
Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing the recording and releasing security instruments process, managing collateral storage, and overseeing Mortgage Electronic Registration System (MERS) reports and quality control.

What you will do:
Under the direction of the VP of Real Estate Lending, you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting our real estate loan servicing portfolio and member experience post-closing.
As the Mortgage Operations Supervisor (Servicing/Post Closing), you will play a key role in achieving targeted loan quality while maintaining departmental efficiencies.
Oversee and support Post Closing, Funding and Servicing team in accomplishing productivity and accuracy goals.
Manage and maximize efficiencies by reviewing workloads and adjusting the allocation of loan files.
Establish relationship with CUSO (Credit Union Service Organization, e.
g.
, Subsidiary) to serve as support and communication for loan funding, boarding and membership information needed for loans.
Coordinate loan funding with CUSO and vendor partners.
Oversee and review loan files for compliance and underwrite loan files for approval.
Manage, track and organize collateral packages and recorded documents from funding through life of loan.
Complete daily, weekly and monthly reporting, meeting MERS requirements.
Promote the Credit Union's real estate initiatives at the branch level through continued training.
Fulfill third party requests such as payoffs, verifications of mortgage, subordination agreements and payment history requests.
Process release of lien and loan document maintenance on paid in full closed loans.
Complete required tracking and reporting of servicing portfolio.
Track, review and approve with in granted limits any insurance claim check for the servicing portfolio.

Here is what you will bring to our Real Estate Team:
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Accredited Bachelor's degree or some college coursework in Business Administration, Finance, Real Estate, or other related field is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years mortgage lending/closing experience with Conventional (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac), and Texas 50(a)6 Home Equity lending products.
Minimum of 1 year experience in mortgage processing, closing or post-closing with knowledge of key terms and functions specific to the mortgage loan life cycle from application to servicing.
Demonstrated experience in a supervisory leadership role and ability to take on production or workflow oversight is required.
Maintain notary public license, or be able to obtain this license within expected timeframes.
