Endeavor is seeking a Property Accountant to join our Accounting Team.
The position prepares monthly and quarterly reports as well as oversees accounts payable and accounts receivable functions for various properties we manage.
This exempt position is required to partner with all levels/departments within the organization so excellent verbal/written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills are a must.
The selected individual must work well with others and be dependable, organized, and detail oriented.
Salary will be based on experience.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Ensures all expenses, receipts, investor activity, funding requests and other transactions are accurately recorded.
Generates accurate financial packages ensuring timely delivery to the investors, clients, lenders, and management teams.
Analyzes and reconciles all balance sheet accounts monthly.
Prepares quarterly reporting for debt covenants if necessary.
Responds to requests from management teams and clients regarding various accounting issues and reports.
Ensures timely payments of property taxes, debt obligations, etc.
Assists property managers with the preparation of annual operating budgets and reconciliations.
Assists with annual audits and tax return preparation.
Prepare/review bank reconciliations.
Assists with special projects and other related duties as may be assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
College Graduate
Minimum 1-2 years experience, preferably in real estate
Highly proficient with Excel
Accounting software experience, Yardi highly beneficial
Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task
