Work involves reviewing, evaluating, and approving education provider and course applications for the real estate, inspector, and appraiser programs, ensuring compliance with agency statute and rules.
Data entry of complex application information into the agency’s records management system is also required.
Work involves communicating professionally with education providers regarding their applications and analyzing applications for completeness.
Job Duties: • Review and process continuing education (CE) course applications accurately and in a timely manner • Evaluate course applications for completeness and compliance with Agency statutes and rules • Accurately data enter complex application information into the agency’s database management system • Disseminate information regarding agency laws, rules and policies related to the education program to agency stakeholders through professional verbal and written communication • Respond to phone and email inquiries in a thorough and timely manner • Work collaboratively with the team in support of division goals • Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: • Graduation from a standard senior high school or equivalent • Two (2) years of work experience reviewing, evaluating, or analyzing complex documents for compliance with rules or standards • Two (2) years of work experience in complex data entry and retrieval • Work experience communicating professionally in person, over the phone and in writing Note: Experience may substitute for education on a year for year basis Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in a field related to real estate, inspection, or appraisal • Experience in a field related to education • Graduation from an accredited college or university Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications • Effective organizational skills • Ability to communicate professionally in person, writing, or over the phone • Ability to accurately review and evaluate documents for completeness and acceptability based on agency statutes, rules or procedures • Ability to accurately input and retrieve complex information in an electronic database management system • Ability to successfully function as a team member and work effectively with team leaders, managers and co-workers • Ability to willingly accept and incorporate constructive criticism/feedback to improve performance • Ability to adapt successfully to change • Ability to consistently present a professional image to internal and external customers Environmental & Physical Conditions: Normal office work environment, mostly sedentary in nature.
Involves speaking to groups of people.
May involve walking; standing; remaining stationary for long periods of time; pulling and pushing; kneeling, stooping and bending; and safely lifting and carrying items weighing up to 30 pounds.
Work involves extensive phone usage and repetitive hand/wrist/finger motions while using the computer.
