1966 Honda CB77 Superhawk.
Same year and make motorcycle as ridden in Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance.
This is a great bike, and will be a lot of fun to whoever gets it.
Since I purchased it about 6 months ago the following services have been completed:
New tires, tubes, and tires dynamically balanced.
Forks rebuilt
Right hand side cover replaced and new kickstart added
Rear taillight wiring fixed
New mufflers and exhaust manifold gaskets
Points set, ignition timed, valves set, carbs synced
Bad wire grounds fixed
Replaced neutral switch
RH and LH case cover bolts replaced
Honda tool kit added
Turn signals added - new switch, stems, signals, wiring, relay
New fuel lines
Rear wheel removed, trued, rebalanced
New rear brakes
Replaced swingarm and rebuilt with new shock mount bushings
New Hagon shocks added
New clutch cable, speedo cable
Front wheel removed, trued, and rebalanced
Chain removed, sprockets inspected, cleaned and lubed
Checked compression and got 150psi per across both cylinders.
I am sure there is more I am forgetting.
Only quirks is it has a very slight oil leak after riding from the right side cover, a couple of drops after a decent length ride, and the speedo cable broke and when I replaced it the speedo moves strangely.
I think the speedo needs to be disassembled and cleaned/greased
The turn signal addition has been great, but easy to removed and I kept the old handlebar switch should you want to do that.
Tons of extra little parts come with it, and happy to sell you some of the tools if you are interested, as well.
Not a show bike by any means, but a really nice well-running CB77.
Clean Texas Title in my name.
