Manager of Content Development
The Manager of Content Development leads the activities of a group of employees producing technical content and/or training (live or digital) to be delivered to internal or external customers
What You Will Be Doing:
Monitors multi-media adult learning team of developers, including technical writing, how-to videos, skills-based videos, guided learning walkthroughs, and simulations.
Manages content delivery and production deciding which learning mode is appropriate for training needs.
Works closely with Product Management, Project Managers, and Product Development on content needs and resolves identified content gaps.
Facilitates content publishing for multiple products with varying deadlines using Project Management skills and tools.
Must understand both traditional and continuous delivery software development lifecycles.
Assist in intake evaluation of new mergers & acquisitions by the company to determine learning needs.
Evaluates the results of training programs to quantify results and propose improvements.
Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
Mentors and coaches direct reports and guide goal setting and milestones.
Work with the leadership team to facilitate cross-product projects and initiatives.

What Could Set You Apart:
5+ years of applicable experience in content development
3+ years experience in the Software industry
3+ years managing and developing employees
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
