Loose dog near Mueller ponds (Austin)

I was walking along the Mueller trails in the southwest greenway yesterday when I saw a loose dog near the ponds.
It looked like a setter or retriever mix, and it had a collar and tag, but it wouldn't allow me close enough to take a look at the tag.
