This is Scottie, and he is a basset hound/blue heeler, one-year-old puppy.
He weighs around 50 lbs, but is not very tall.
He has been described as "two dogs long and half a dog high" 😂
Scottie is neutered and up to date on vaccines, as well as monthly given his flea + tick and heartworm preventative ever since he was old enough to have them.
Scottie is a high energy dog, and needs quite a bit of attention.
He does well with other dogs, all people, and children.
Cats are hit or miss.
Because Scottie is very hyper, he needs a home that can provide him with the right amount of play, time, and attention.
Right now, in this season of my life, I do not have the time to give him and it makes him very anxious and stir crazy.
Scottie is super loving and knows basic commands.
Sit, down, bark, leave it, come, and stay.
He's been working on heel when he goes on walks.
I am asking for a rehoming fee since I want to make sure he goes to a home that really wants him.
He will come with a sample of his food, the last remaining heartworm and flea/tick preventative I have for him, harness and leash, and a few toys.
