Reports to: C Store Manager
Position Summary:
As a Refuel C Store Team Member, customer service is our number one priority.
Our C Store Team Members are not just cashiers.
Refuel C Store Team Members are required to do the following:
Provide a friendly greeting to all customers upon entering the store or on the phone.
Get to know your customers and use their name.
Go out of your way to make customers feel important and valued.
Move quickly to provide fast service.
Suggest sell to customers when appropriate.
Thank customers for their business and invite them back.
Without our customers we would not be in business.
It is imperative that they receive 100% of our attention and we show appreciation for their business.
Sales Associates should be outgoing, energetic, and customer focused!

Stock, front face all merchandise
Stock fountain, deli case, cooler, & freezer
Proper merchandise placement on Sales Counter
Check for out of date merchandise.
Accounting & Legal:
Proper cash and credit card accountability at the end of each shift
Adhere to local, state, and federal policies on age restricted product sales.
Observe and react to shoplifter and gas theft.
Cooking:
Prepare and cook food in a fast food restaurant in the outlined procedures of the company Deli Manual.
Duties of the Cook Position are preparation of a few basic items and normally involve operating large-volume single-purpose cooking equipment.
Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.
Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity.
Cook foods, such as fried chicken and other fried items, which are prepared and kept warm until sold.
Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as deep-vat fryers and other company's equipment.
Measure ingredients required for specific food items being prepared.
Clean, stock, and restock workstations and display cases
Policies:
Attend store team members and 1 on 1 meetings as scheduled
Be open to receiving feedback, guidance, & supervision
Adhere to all Refuel company policies
Position Requirements: Ability, Education, and/or Related Work History:
Must be in physically good shape and able to stand during entire work shift.
Must be able to work in a cooler at a temperature of 35 degrees for up to 30 minutes.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must have visual acuity to check identification and process money orders.
Must be able to tolerate gas fumes and cleaning products.
Must be able to climb a ladder to clean windows.
Must be able to react to a fire by lifting and using a 30lb fire extinguisher.
Must be able to do basic math at the eighth grade level.
Must be able to speak, read and write English and communicate with customers in English.
