The Salt Lick BBQ in Round Rock, TX is looking for hard working, self motivated individuals to join our team.
Being a Busser/Dishwasher at Salt Lick is a demanding and fast pace job which requires an individual who has composure under pressure as well as gives exceptional customer service to all guest.
Secondly, the individual must take pride in his/her work area and always keep a clean and safe environment.
Third, this position(s) will vary week to week and you must have the ability to do all jobs the team needs you to do.

*Responsibility*
The Busser/Dishwasher's primary responsibility is to maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant, including the dining room, restrooms, outside, and kitchen areas.
The Bussers/Dishwashers may also be required to assist servers, bartenders, hosts, and managers during the course of their employment.
*Essential Functions*
* Maintain the cleanliness of all floors in the dining room
* Maintain the cleanliness of the exterior of the restaurant, including landscaping and parking lots
* Maintain the cleanliness of all areas of the dining room including doorways, ledges, ceilings, walls, light fixtures, ceiling fans, tables, table bases, chairs, and booths.
* Greet guests as necessary
* Give all guests the right of way
* Clear tables after guests leave.
Take all dishes, eating utensils, and glassware to dish room and place in appropriate areas for easy cleanup by the dishwasher
* Between seating promptly cleans tabletops, chairs, and booths.
Check floor and clean as required.
Reset and organize tabletop
* Inspect and clean restrooms every 30 minutes.
Initial restroom checklist chart.
* Respond appropriately to guest requests.
Communicate guest requests to server as needed.
* Communicate with server and hostess to ensure efficient seating, table utilization, and customer service.
* Assist all employees and managers as needed
* Thank guests as they are leaving
*Other Job Functions*
Assist dishwashers, servers, hosts, bartenders, and managers throughout the shift.
Cleans floors, organizes, and cleans storerooms.
Use cleaning compounds.
Complete other duties as required.
*Personal Requirements*
* No Previous restaurant experience required
* Have working knowledge of the predominant language(s) of our guests
* Be able to lift, reach, bend, and stoop constantly
* Be able to be consistently moving and lifting for the entirety of the shift
* Food safety certification, if mandated by state or local law
* Ability to work well as part of a team
* Ability to work efficiently and rapidly
* Personal cleanliness
* Willingness to listen and learn to improve on a daily basis
*Working Conditions*
* Bussers/Dishwashers must withstand the pressure and strain of standing for hours at a time, lifting heavy bus tubs, and working continually on their feet
* They preform duties that require bending, lifting, reaching, and turning
* They transport heavy bus tubs (weighing up to 50 lbs) to and from the bar, dining room, and dish areas
* They are under constant pressure to bus tables quickly, quietly, and efficiently, while ensuring safety and sanitation guidelines are observed
* The ability to read tickets and fill orders for guests correctly and efficiently.
This entails carrying heavy trays of food and drinks.
