Responsibilities: Cleans and sanitizes all food service areas and equipment.
Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation Washes pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures Stocks plates, glasses, pots, utensils and pans after cleaning.
Ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other food prep surfaces Removes all trash and maintains loading and receiving areas in safe and clean condition.
Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas Helps load and unload supplies and product Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications: The qualifications listed below represent the credentials necessary to perform the essential functions of this position.
To be successful in this position, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Experience working in a restaurant or events environment preferred.

Possess valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations.
Physical Dimensions: Performing the duties of this position involves extensive and continuous standing and walking.
Routine activities require the employee to be able to reach with hands and arms, sit, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
The employee is frequently required to lift up to 50 pounds.
The vision requirements include the ability to adjust focus, peripheral vision and close vision.
