Who You Are:
We are seeking a candidate with a strong positive attitude toward customer service to act a Housekeeper for our resident facilities.
This person will have a genuine interest in geriatric care and be able to motivate while maintaining relationship with staff and residents.
The right candidate will always strive to do the best job possible, to be creative and to work towards accomplishing facility goals.
Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor, the Housekeeping Specialist is primarily responsible for the daily cleanliness and sanitation of all assigned common areas, hallways, residential units, rest rooms, offices, and furniture in accordance with federal, state and local standards and guidelines, and as may be directed by the Director of Facilities and/or their designee, to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care is maintained at all times.
To assure that our facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.
Associate must be able to work in a 24 hour operation.
Accountabilities:
Follows outlined daily and weekly cleaning and deep cleaning schedules
Performs general cleaning duties in resident rooms and common areas
Follow established policies governing infection control
Maintain an organized work area and keep the department in compliance with OSHA safety standards
Effectively communicates both verbally and in writing
Demonstrates the community hospitality promises towards residents, families, associates and vendors
Other related duties and responsibilities that may become necessary or as directed by the supervisor

Qualifications
High School education or GED preferred, but not required.
Must be able to stand or walk for 6-8 hours in an 8 hour workday.
Preferred minimum of 1-3 years of housekeeping in a hospitality or health care environment.
