To provide quality customer service to patients by accurately assembling patient trays according to orders and delivering trays according to departments.
To maintain a clean kitchen and handle food items according to HAACP procedures.
Performs a variety of food service and dish room tasks.
Completes assembly of meal service items.
Cleans and removes dirty food from floors and cleans carts and dishware utilizing dish machine.
Cleans and sanitizes work area.
Performs a variety of cleaning and dish room duties, sweeps, and mops floors.
Checks in and puts away stock.
Buses tables in the atrium area.
Participates in providing patient specific care standards as directed, and follows service excellence standards to ensure high levels of patient satisfaction.
The Food Service Associate II may be assigned any of the following areas of responsibility: Host/Hostess, Tray line, Porter, Pots and Pans/Dish Room.
Must know policies and procedures for HACCP standards, familiar with area appropriate HACCP logs and demonstrates how to document information on HACCP logs and take corrective action if problem is identified.

Follows the City of Austin, Texas Department of Health, and JCAHO standards for food production, food service, and food service, and sanitation.
