YOUR DAY TO DAY
As the Controller, you will have the responsibility of supervising the accounting functions, ensuring their accuracy and efficiency.
Working closely with the CFO, you will provide valuable assistance on strategic matters such as budget management, cost-benefit analysis, forecasting, and internal control.
Your expertise in financial management will be put to use as you develop and implement policies to control and coordinate accounting, auditing, budgets, taxes, and related activities.
You will have the opportunity to establish procedures that streamline financial processes and ensure compliance with industry standards.
With your keen eye for detail, you will evaluate operational results and find potential areas for increased profitability.
Your analysis will guide decision-making and help shape the future direction of the club.
As the liaison to the finance committee, you will have the chance to collaborate with key stakeholders.
Leading a team of accounting professionals, you will hire and supervise staff to ensure the smooth functioning of the department.

QUALIFICATIONS
Background in hospitality accounting
Bachelor's degree in a related area
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Strong organizational skills
2+ years of prior experience in a club environment or hospitality-related industry in accounting or finance
Supervisory experience
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of accounting experience in a private club
Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance
Proficiency in Jonas or related software
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Certified Hospitality Accountant Executive (CHAE)
