*Senior Accountant*
Are you a number-crunching sorcerer with a passion for Accounting and a flair for the extraordinary? We have an enchanting opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join Pathfinder Hospitality and weave financial magic across our realm of hospitality.
If you're ready to bring balance to the books and cast a spell of financial success, this is the role for you!
* Overseeing and managing the financial activities of our hotels and Management Company on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance within the organization.
* Put your mystical abilities to work as you craft and manage budgets for our hotel properties.
With your keen eye for detail and forecasting prowess, you'll transform numbers into actionable plans, optimizing our financial success and unlocking opportunities for value creation.
* As a senior member of our Accounting team, you'll be a mentor and guide to junior accountants and to General Managers.
Your knowledge and expertise will help them grow their own magical abilities, building a high-performing team that adds value to our financial operations.
* Collaborate with our Learning & Development Team on creating Job Aids and classroom content for training team members as new initiatives within the Accounting Department materialize and when opportunities to improve processes are discovered.
* Tax season may be feared by many, but not by you! You'll navigate the maze of tax regulations and weave your spells to ensure compliance and timeliness.
With your expertise, you'll minimize our tax liabilities while maximizing opportunities for savings and incentives.
*Qualifications*
* Minimum 5 years experience as a Senior Accountant
* Strong attention to detail
* Proactive mindset
* Consistency in meeting deadlines
* High Emotional Intelligence
* Desire to learn and grow, regardless of the phase of your career you happen to be in
* Proficiency in mastering financial management software and accounting systems.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and relevant regulations
