Champions Westlake & Champions 1826 Gymnastics & Cheer is a family owned and operated business that has been providing top-notch gymnastics, cheer, tumbling, ninja, and trampoline instruction in the Austin area for nearly 30 years.

You are an experienced accountant who has a passion for finances, accounting, and a desire to work closely with the owner and managers in a small business.
You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial health of our business.
You are analytical and a natural problem solver, and enjoy coming up with creative and efficient solutions to streamline financial processes.
You possess exceptional people skills, are patient and understanding, and enjoy working with and mentoring our upcoming leaders in financial literacy within their program.
_Your experience should encompass:_Degree in accounting/finance/related field
Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks
Advanced experience in Excel and Google Sheets
Excellent communicator
Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
Research & project management experience, a plus
_*What You'll Do*_
-Quickbooks coding and account reconciliation
-Intercompany financials
-File and pay taxes monthly
-Annual tax preparation
-Franchise tax review and payment
-Financial analysis and monitoring
-Credit card usage monitoring
-Quarterly reporting
-Produce sales reports
-Collect and monitor monthly sales reports
-Bookkeeping tasks
-Ensure compliance as needed
-Manage implementation of new financial policies
-Financial planning for future expenses
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accountant or similar role
- Strong knowledge of securities law and regulations
- Experience with account reconciliation and financial analysis
- Proven ability to mentor and guide team members
- Proficient in financial concepts, budgeting, and financial report interpretation
- Experience with payroll processing is a plus
This is a part time position with possibility to become full time.
