We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our world-renowned Golf School team.
As the Accountant/Controller, you will be responsible for all financial activities of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all aspects of financial reporting, including preparation of financial statements, general ledger reconciliation, and account analysis
- Develop and implement internal controls and procedures
- Payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely payments to Team & partners
- Conduct regular budgeting and forecasting activities to support strategic planning initiatives
- Perform detailed account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
- AP, AR, GL, P&L, BS, Bank, Credit Cards, Gift Certificates, Sales Tax, Inventory, etc.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial performance and provide insights for decision-making
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Desire to be part of a growing small company
- Self-motivated and strong ability to work independently
- Familiarity with e-commerce, specifically WooCommerce a plus
- Experience with inventory financial management and Amazon sales a plus
