Specializes in auditing, investigating county payments and travel reimbursements.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications · Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree.
· Five (5) years’ experience processing accounts payable reimbursements.
Preferred Qualifications · Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or public administration.
· Experience in processing vouchers on CAPPS.
· Experience in monitoring vouchers on USAS.
Substitutions Education requirement may be substituted with up to four (4) years of related experience.
In this role you will: · Audit, investigate and analyze travel vouchers, county claim payments and district court payments to ensure compliance with statewide payments guidelines and agency policies.
· Reconcile invoices and prepares payments for rental car vouchers and central billing accounts.
· Maintain files in an orderly manner in compliance with the state’s records retention guidelines.
· Prepare records for storage at the State Library.
· Enter voucher accounting detail into the Centralized Accounting and Payroll/Personnel System (CAPPS).
· Monitor documents in the Uniform Statewide Accounting System (USAS) to ensure timely processing (as applicable).
· Prepares procedures, special reports and projects as needed.
· Performs all other related duties as assigned.
You will also have knowledge of: · The agency’s fiscal program; and of budget control methods, policies and procedures.
· Policies, procedures and standards governing the payment of employee related reimbursements.
· Legislative requirements for state government.
Have Skills in: · Managing work time efficiently in order to complete multiple assignments within designated time period.
Have the Ability to: · Develop Excel spreadsheets and Word documents.
· Develop and write reports and schedules.
· Use a personal computer in a Windows environment, including Microsoft software and mainframe functions.
